International School Award

I am very pleased to announce that the Robert Napier School is the recipient of the International School Award 2010-2013.

This year and in the following years, teachers at the school will be working on international activities like the European Day of Languages, a Chinese Week, Connecting Classrooms with Colombia and China, Etwinning with EU countries.

We are aslo welcoming two Languages Assistant from Martinique and China.

Thanks to everyone who helped with the award.

Paris and Madrid trips

Once again we are please to offer two trips to the continent in conjunction with the Art Department.
Both trips will take place in April 2011 and we will be leaving on Friday morning and return and Monday evening.
The trip to Spain (Madrid) will cost about £490 per person, all inclusive, with visits to museums, shopping time, visit of the stadium,...
The trip to France (Paris) will cost about £350, all inclusive. We will visit the Musee du louvres, La cite des sciences, and have some time for shopping as well.
Make sure you get a letter from Miss Charles and bring a deposit as soon as possible to book your place.

A few photos from Paris

We had a wonderful time, spending 4 days enjoying the parisian sun!

Pupils and staff enjoyed the boat ride along the Seine river, discovering the landmarks of the French capital city: la Tour Eiffel, l'Assemblée Nationale, Notre Dame de Paris, le Quai d'Orsay, and many more impressive monuments!









We all liked our picnic, not far from the Louvres Pyramid. Students had the opportunity to get some souvenirs in Montmartre after visiting the Basilique du Sacré Coeur.

On Thursday, pupils were ready half an hour earlier than necessary as we were to spend the day at DysneyLand Park.

Finally on Friday, almost everyone was able able to enjoy the beautiful view of the city you can get from the second floor of the eiffel Tower. We will be adding more pictures very soon.

Paris Trip

We are getting ready to go to Paris on Tuesday 17th March to Firday 20th March. Students will get a chance to discover the French Capital City.
