BASTILLE DAY

Yesterday, it was Bastille Day in France which celebrates the beginning of the French Revolution (1789).
Pupils had a chance in the last few days to watch videos about this event in their French lessons.
We also had flags put up along the MFL corridor. Thanks to 8ANI/fr3 for helping Mrs Lundie.
Teachers and support staff also enjoyed warm croissants at break time, provided by the MFL department.

BOULES CLUB

Every Wednesday we are meeting in the MFL garden to play French Boules (weather permitting). This is open to Year 7 pupils only.

SPAIN 2008

There are a few more places left on the Spain Trip 2008. Please ask for a letter from Miss Charles (rm 17).
We are going for 5 days and will be staying near Barcelona.

SPANISH TRIP 2008

In November 2008 we will be going to Barcelona, Spain for 5 days. We will be travelling by plane to make the most of the week. We will visit the city, taste some food, have some language lessons and discover markets, beaches...
